Allied Light Cavalry

I have finished a few more units for my 6mm Seven Years war project. This time some allied light cavalry units. None of these were involved in the battle of Minden, which I am basing my units on, but they were part of the army – doing scouting etc. so I wanted to have a few of these units. To differentiate these from the normal cavalry I used 7 vs. 9 figures per base. This allows a little more space between the figure. It also means I can use a single pack of Baccus 6mm figs for 6 units and have a couple of figures left over.

Soto the detailed up close shots. First I have the 15th Light Dragoons:Next are the 17th Light Dragoons, you can see the free cuffs and shoulder pads of the unit:Lastly, we have the Hussar Von Roth unit, who were allies from Brunswick, who were British/Hanoverian allies. Although Hussars the British Light Dragoon figures work best for these as they also had the trailing head dresses of the Light Dragoons- at least at this scale.
