Hold the line 2014

Well the Hold the Line show was last week and so it’s all over. Overall it was a fun and I believe a successful event. A nice mix of vendors and demo games for a first time event. So thanks for all who organized it. One of the cool items for me is that this show raised a decent amount for the Wounded Warrior charity. A worthy cause if ever there was one!

I ran two games at the event. The first was a 15mm ECW game and other was a 28mm SAGA game. After that I played in a 20mm Force on Force demo game. Below is a picture of the 15mm ECW game in progress.ECW HTL gameI got so involved running the games I did not take many pictures of either game, but with 5 to 6 players per session they all seemed to go down well. After each game people states they now wanted to purchase the rules systems – so obviously the visual appealing and successful gaming events for the rules vendors! Below is an in progress of the SAGA game as it heats up with various groups in the center of the village.HTL SAGA gameHere is a great site with loads of pictures for the SAGA game saga game shots  I hope the link works for you. I’ll be honest and say I did not even remember these pictures being taken, as they were not done by me – I was having so much fun! I hope the players did as well.

The planning already seem to be in the works for the 2015 event for next year, so mark your calendar, for a fun one day gaming event in the Toronto area. Oh and thanks again to all involved by either turning up or organizing the event this year.
