15mm wooden buildings

O.K. a quick one this week. I am slowly building up a collection of buildings for the games that I play and as various of those are in 15mm it seemed appropriate to get some buildings. These are from 4ground and they suite many periods and so they were an easy option for adding to the collection. They can be used for everything from Renaissance to sci-fi really without any changes, as rural buildings.cabins 2 (640x345)Apart from put them together the only thing I have done is paint the roof tabs so they are not so obvious to the eye. I hated the fact that they spoil the look of the buildings. You can still see the tab holes, but they don’t jump out now as much. The buildings are sturdy and will survive reasonable use on the wargames table and storage in containers without concern.cabins (640x339)The roofs come off to allow for figs to be placed in the buildings. This makes these great for the large skirmish style games which should get them on the table. The buildings were easy to put together and look the part with just a few paint touch ups’ so definitely get my recommendation if you want some pre-made buildings.cabins3 (640x465)In reality, old, weathered  wood is gray not the brown of these models – but heck these still look good in most games. I’m no doing a lot of extra stuff to these for them to be used on the table.
